I have been absolutely frigid this past week, so decided to concentrate on one track this afternoon. Posting (and playing) the following win tickets only.
R1 - #1 Who's The Star 3-1, the two Baffert colts will make sure there's a brisk pace (as well as the #3 getting blinkers). Should play right into the stalker on the rail.
R2 - #7 Barossa 7-2, shows three consecutive gate works prepping for debut and improved with each. Can't fault the "win early" breeding either.
R3 - #3 Exhalting 6-1, the drop to claiming ranks, jockey upgrade, and addition of Lasix (and whatever secret breakfast O'Neill serves up) should all help.
R4 - #1 Liam's Pride 15-1, the owners have finally given up, gelded him, and put him up for sale. But, you know, he is a stakes winner with some back class who will likely go off at juicy odds. Worth a stab.
R5 - #1 Unbreakable 6-1, seems a little light on the Beyers at first glance, but I love four year old fillies off a layoff who show a steady work pattern. They can sometimes mature quite a bit in that respite. Another stab.
R6 - #5 City of Champions 15-1, not a bad run considering the trouble she encountered early in her debut. Never gave up. "If" she takes to the grass, she could surprise at a price.
R7 - #2 Querelle 6-1, Miller has used this route to sprint move with her a couple of times successfully and she holds a 6 for 6 record at this distance finishing in the exacta. Can only wish for 6-1.
R8 - #6 Parsimony 8-1, I'm frightened betting this guy to win - he doesn't seem to have the heart when it matters most as shown by his 28-2-9-4 record. That 46.4 work last week just keeps jumping out at me, though.
R9 - #2 Wound Tight 6-1, Can the old guy steal it on the stretch out? Sure can if they let him have an easy go of it.
R10 - #5 Cameo Shores 20-1, making third start with Bonde after a lengthy layoff. Big improvement in last could hint at a nice effort today.
Good luck
